Cheers, Educational Experience

I prefer to not type out the beginning of my narrative until I have more time to revise and fix on paper.

My educational experience is about my time spent in high school and getting involved with the wrong people, peer pressure, bad decisions, jail time, as well as how returning back to school helped me to change my future and be determined to work with medicine, all thanks to one teacher who cared enough about his students that he only wanted the best from them.

How do Malcolm X's, Rose's, and the three bloggers' "essays" differ?

The story written by Mike Rose, "I just wanna be average" was more informative on the people that were involved in his school, he informed us that from the beginning he was placed in lower education classes due to a mix up in testings with another student with the last name Rose. As his story goes along he writes about the people he encounters along the way and how he becomes a mediocre student and tries less and isn't really interested, yet still gets an educational experience just not the one he was hoping for.
Malcolm X's story is educational as well in that he never really had an education, while in prison he tried to read a book yet didn't know half of what it was talking about because the vocabulary was so intense he couldn't understand with his low education status. He obtains an encyclopedia and gets to work writing down each word and passage in the dictionary until he finishes and has a great new vocab and understanding for each word, he pushed himself and really wanted to try and be successful in his learning.
The three blogs, "How I learned to program computers", "How I learned to travel solo", and "How I learned to live google-free" all give great detail and step by step information on what they did to be successful in what their endeavors were. The programmer started simply from starting a webpage blog and progressed along the way until he got to where he needed to be. The google free by Romero explained how he learned to live without google and worked his way around using the search engine that almost everyone in the world is using. The Traveler informs us on how traveling solo isn't just the trip it's a trip and gives great information on if you are by yourself what to do in the meantime and what time of the week to go as well as if traveling by yourself you have more things that you can do as opposed to if you were traveling with another person you wouldn't be able to fit in all the things you have been wanting to do.
I personally liked the how I learned to travel solo best, I really enjoy traveling and going places by myself so it interested me in her way of traveling by herself and what she does to keep herself busy during the meantime.

Education Experience

My experience will last a lifetime in my eyes, not everyone gets wrapped up in that extent of peer pressure and comes out on top and on the fast track to success. I was once told that the children whom get in trouble with the judicial system earlier in life are normally the ones who learn from it,  come out with their head on their shoulders. As opposed to the mid to elder age that get in trouble with the law typically have that kind of troubled future. Not necessarily though just a statement that I was once told by the Sergeant of Suquamish Police Department. Being that the extent of my committed offense was not damaging, nor stealing, or doing anything of the sort, other than a mere trespassing, still not good- but being that it wasn't as big of a crime to an extent. I learned a lot from the experience, I learned that peer pressure is never a good thing unless they are pressuring you to do better in your schooling or in your life. It was hard on me because my family had expected so much more from me to do better and I had simply just made a mistake and hung out with the wrong crowd for a week or so. I learned that even if life brings you down a road of confusion, and pressure, that anyone and everyone can better their lives and get on a great path to doing what they love. I thank my Athletic Medicine teacher for having faith in me when no one else did and helping me choose my career path and pushing me to do better in my schooling.. If it weren't for him I probably would still be with the wrong crowd of people and be partying every weekend in college and not doing my homework instead of focusing on my long term goal of medicine. I am so happy to finally have my path figured out, anything can happen I just have to keep these eyes open and subject to anything life throws at me.

For my first paper.

The soundtrack for my experience will be... "Locked up" by Akon

As well as  can't be touched by Roy Jones Jr.

And also 5-1-5-0 by Dierks Bentley

My experience with the Judicial system kind of flows along the lines of the television show, "Orange is the new black"
Not the whole situation of the show but just as she isn't really meant to be in a prison situation, and she has never done anything bad in her life besides meeting the wrong person and getting into the wrong situations..
Except ending up in jail teaches her lessons along the way... as for me, I didn't end up in there long enough to become what she became thank goodness!!!
Great show though...=]

Here's some more pictures to add to the experience..

How I Learned to Travel Solo

I really enjoyed this blog on how to travel solo, she gives good advice on how to become more extroverted whilst still being an introvert. You really do have to learn to do things by yourself, it's always nice to do things with other people and travel but then you don't really get the time of day to truly do the things YOU came to do, because being with another person traveling its more on compromise and what you both would like to do together. I like how she tells you when to go, say midweek because normally the population of the traveling areas increases over the weekend. If you go mid week then you are less likely to wait and waste time of day to see the things you want to see. I love her titles to each little section, "Be ok with being scruffy", "Do weird stuff", "It's not THE trip, it's A trip". Mainly just have fun and do what you want to do in the time you have and make sure to make it a memory by taking pictures and such. I personally love traveling alone, it gives me time to think about life and I don't have to worry about anyone else but myself.. at the time.
